Easter

Easter this year was wonderful! We started the fun on Saturday morning. Megan's house had sold and they were doing the inspection so they came and spent the morning with us. We had pancakes and colored eggs. The boys actually did pretty good and didn't make a huge mess, surprise!
Saturday afternoon we went over to G&G Cox's house where we colored eggs again and had an Easter egg hunt. Jake was all into it this year and did pretty good finding the eggs with just a little bit of guidance from dad and "papa".

Easter morning we woke up with the boys. Having told Jake the night before about the Easter Bunny coming and bringing him a basket, he was pretty excited to find it. He found his, Cooper's, Mommy, and Daddy's basket and didn't waste any time getting into the treats inside them. I think he loved the huge yellow ball he got the most. He had to take it everywhere with him.

As per usual we went to Megan's for breakfast and another egg hunt. That party ended by Jake climbing into a bucket of water, with some help from uncle Mitch.

Why yes that is Jason's butt photobombing.

All wet and not so happy. It seemed like a good idea at the time.

We ended the day back and G&G Cox's house for our usual Sunday dinner.
Writing all of that out makes me think we may need to cut back on the festivities next year.
