The Cox/Harris/Maxfield Christmas Party

The day after Christmas we got to attend the big Christmas party that Grandma Jackie and Grandpa Rich have for the HUGE family. It is always fun and we get to see people we don't get to see as often because they actually come into town from other states for this party.
They rent out Classic Fun Center in Layton, the first little bit it's still open to the public, but before long it is just us. Jake had a blast this year in Pirate's Cove. It's like a giant playplace. He also loved the big inflatable bouncers. He went up the steps like a champ and we both loved sliding back down. They have a an arcade with tokens that are only a dime as well. Jake loves skeeball and may have cheated by walking up to the holes. A first this year for Jake was going out on the skating rink. They have broadbased, 3-wheeled scooters you can borrow there so we got one and Jason went out and pushed Jake around for a bit.

Maddi tried one out too, she seemed to be a little more into it. While we were off enjoying all that fun, Aunt Kim was perfectly happy holding our little Cooper as he slept through nearly the entire party. Before we knew it, it was time to go home... at 11:30! Holy cow, that went by fast and Jake still could have kept going at a million miles an hour. He didn't even crash in the car like we thought he would. We look forward to this party every year, now we have to wait for next year.
