Cooper's Blessing

What a beautiful Sunday! Today we blessed our sweet little Cooper. Jason was joined in the circle by his dad, his brother Cody, his cousin Mike, and our wonderful bishop. He blessed Cooper with a sound mind and a strong body, a desire to always got to the scriptures, to prepare to one day serve a mission, and to find a worthy companion to start his own eternal family with. He did a beautiful job and it was another one of those moments that made me so proud and grateful to have a worthy priesthood holder as my eternal companion. Cooper did great as well. He started to fuss for just a second and then decided he needed to talk instead.
Afterward, we had all of our friends and family that came to the blessing over at our house for a lunch of soup in bread bowls and lots of tasty treats. It was fun to have everyone here and be able to visit with some people that we hadn't seen in a while. We also managed to surprise Grandpa Cox with a birthday cake complete with candles while everyone sang to him.
Because Cooper, for the first time ever, decided he needed to wake up every hour and then fight going back to sleep last night, and because it was just such a fun day, we are definitely ready for bed. We're just hoping he's just as tired as us.

Our cute little family
And then there's these two, guess they're tired too.
